Coupon calculation without shipping cost

Helo all,

I am using 10% Percentage coupon in my commerce site. I need coupon amount to get discount from line items amount not from total amount. But default coupon value gets reduced from total(including shipping cost).

How to calculate coupon discount only for line items?,
Is there any function to alter the order total calculation ?

please guide me over this.
