I am in the final stages of developing a site with drupal that uses Gmap to mark locations on maps.

The problem I am having is that twice now the Gmap module has just disappeared from the module list making anything that uses it disappear as well. I managed to get it to show up again the first time somehow, but I am not sure how. The module folder is still there and complete, I have tried moving it to /sites/all/modules from /modules but that hasn't made a difference. I have also tried running the update script but no joy.

This is pretty urgent as the site needs to be live this afternoon!

This is very odd. Every time you visit the modules page, the system searches for all modules.. Could be a permissions error, or possibly a corrupt filesystem... I don't have any other ideas..

I really can't see how gmap could possibly be causing this. The only other possibility that I can think of is caching issues (I have a satellite connection, and sometimes my module pages go wonky due to problems with caching)

Other than that, no clue.....
