The Green Party of Ontario has just launched a new site built with drupal 5.2.

It uses panels and views for the front and landing pages, and civicrm for the donation/membership pages. Each section roughly corresponds to a custom type that's just a copy of the usual 'page' type.

Site design is by Hypenotic.

Drupal implementation is by Alan Dixon.

This site is just beautiful. The graphic layout is very classy, and would probably work in other media as well.

Tiny detail - I noticed there's no site mini-icon, what shows up in your address bar when you're viewing a site.

The site has a fresh look to go with the intended message.

This is a site I would like to see profiled. From first contact through completion. Not just the "How We Did It", but "Why We Did It This Way". Drupalers would learn quite a bit from that. When you have a few weeks, of course.

The process was unfortunately not glamorous enough to qualify as a blockbuster. Maybe more of an ABC after school special.
