No aggregrator categories

I've created a couple categories, but when I tried to created a newspage, it says I have none. I'm lost as under my menu under content are 2 aggregrators and 2 newspage. I then uninstalled feed parser and I still have 2 newpages. but then neither one still works. I tried to reinstall my entire site, but I'm still lost as how it's supposed to work. Thanks. I'm trying to set up an aggregrator system that will take in feeds from multiple sites and place them in multiple categories on my site, along with blocks and stuff that will show links and stuff. Any help or recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
