This seems really straightforward, and it doesn't break anything in my tests. I have not tested in conjunction with salsa_entity, however -- I'm still familiarizing myself with that project.

Path of the patch is wrong, make sure that you use --relative=path/to/project when creating a patch within a global git repository.
