How to change Description for Menu Item Entry of Page Settings

Using 6.x-2.16+5-dev

I am sure I have seen this issue some years back on an earlier version, but did not find any issues during a search, so maybe I was the onlyone who noticed :).

I have a view with multiple pages.

I have set Page Setting - Menu item Entry to 'Normal menu entry'.
I Set a 'Title' and 'Description', Selected the Menu and saved.
Menu appears in block, just needs position adjusting using core Menus.
All's well

Now I decide to change the 'Description'
Update view and save.
Clear the caches
Hover over the menu item, no change !

Views shows 'New Description'
Look in core Menu's still reads the 'Old Description'.

The question is, what is the correct way to change it. I would have assumed, the description in views would have been the same as core.

Advice please
