Creating multiple lists

I run a cricket club site and am using Site User list. I want to have one list showing all members with certain fields and another list showing only committee members with a different set of fields. I can get either to work but not both. It seems like I need two installs of site use list to do what I want but not sure if that is possible,

I have tried creating views but I can't create a view of users, only authors which is not suitable.
