I have just used this module to join a list of members to my site. It seems they did not receive an email giving their registration details. Looking at the feature requests I see that userplus does not send the usual welcome message? - am I correct? If so, how can I send this message to them? They will not be able to access the site without it.

If the message is not sent when using userplus, I suggest that this should be made very clear in the info supplied with the module.

This is the next feature that will get into userplus -- I'm still hoping someone will supply a patch. Marked this as a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/81419 so keep an eye on that issue.

I have now discovered the User Import model that does more of what I need - no criticism of userplus intended, just posting the link here in case anyone else is looking for the same thing see http://drupal.org/project/user_import
