I think this would be helpful if directory's URLs were configurable by Pathauto project as well. Directory is based on taxonomy... it makes sense to use taxonomy based URLs and then no additional feature is required since taxonomy urls are fully customizable by pathauto.

just how SEO friendly is pathauto, and this directory module?
