Hi! Should it possible to choose the default value for a specific node type?

Oh yes, it is possible :-)
Here is the patch for adding this option.
Apply it to the http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/private_nodes-5.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz

P.S: The patch actually set the default value ignoring the buddies status, I've to improve it for managing the buddy list too.

I've checked it, I've uploaded a valid file, I'm sure, I don't know why the file uploaded is blank.

I try to re-upload the file renaming it, maybe there is a problem with the issue manager here on drupal
