I plan on utilizing this module to purge 12,000 nodes that I plan on replacing with new nodes each month.

I don't plan on receiving 12,000+ email notifications each month.

Any chance a checkbox could be added to these features to turn them off?

Notification are sent when nodes are about to be expired, and also when they are expired, but not when they are purged.

The first notification can be disabled by disabling the warning (set it to 0).

You cannot disable the second notification, and I guess you are right, there should be an option to do that. Will look into it.

Now you can leave the email subject empty in order to turn off the corresponding notification.
