Blocks Not Showing

Lenwood - September 4, 2007 - 19:38

Hi All,
I'm using a slightly modified version (colors, font size) of the Internet Jobs theme (http://drupal.org/project/internet_jobs) on my website. The theme works perfectly, but I'm having some difficulty with blocks. Last week I tried adding Google AdSense in a block, and it wouldn't show. I figured it was something to do with AdSense, so I blew it off. Today I tried adding Newsvine's election widget (http://elections.newsvine.com/electionwidget) poll tool in a block, and that wouldn't show either.

I'm having a hard time understanding why the standard Drupal blocks work great, but the ones I add don't. Any tips?

Thanks In Advance,
Chris

Did you set the "Page specific visibility settings"?

Page specific visibility settings

Hi chadcross, and thanks for your reply.

Nope, I wanted this to appear on every page. After reading your comment I tried putting it on the front page (with tag), but it still didn't work. Drupal is storing the settings, but the theme is not displaying the content.

Thanks,
Chris

Are you placing your blocks

Are you placing your blocks into the same region as the standard drupal blocks? are they php code and did you check that the input settings were ok?
