In summary my problem appears to be the Adsense Module not playing nicely with the "Image Attach Module" (or possibly the other way around)

I'm running the Drupal Adsense module and am adding single images to my nodes (pages and stories) using the "Image Attach" module. I have noticed that an image that once appeared in the top right of the post have now been pushed down to the end of the post.

I have tracked down the problem to be "Enable AdSense section targeting" in the Adsense module. Not enabling this feature fixes the problem and the images are once again displayed at the top right of the node. Any suggestions on how to turn enable AdSense section targeting and get my images display in the correct location.

Please post this question to the issues queue for the AdSense module. You will have a better chance of having your issue addressed.

That being said, did you try the Image Assist module?
