I would like to include a free tagging taxonomy field to one of my custom content types. The field is also required. This much I have setup already. I'm wondering if it's possible to limit this particular field to one, and only one, term.

I thought of a solution for this problem, but i'm not good enough in php to make it..
What if all the comma's in the free tagging field are replaced by another character, so all submissions will always automatically exist of one term?
Can anyone tell me what has to be changed to get this to work?
