Problem/Motivation

When I put in a youtube link for the pre or post reel option in the mediafront preset, the player skips the first player in the playlist after playing the pre or post reel Youtube video.
Create sever content nodes with Youtuve video url fields, use views to put them into a play list, then enter a youtube video url as the pre or post reel.
It will skip the first video in the playlist after playing the reel.

Proposed resolution

Change the code to play the first video instead of the second video in the playlist

Remaining tasks

Review and reproduced problem needed to demonstrate it's not just an issue with my installation

I have everything working fine, except that when playing it runs through the following:

- intro video
- commercial
- pre-reel
- main video

HOWEVER! once the main video is played, the player just skips the post-reel video and begins to play again from the intro-video.

Each video is a filefield / media file selector field on a node. the mediafront settings for each field is set to the appropriate video event...

The player preset is set to auto load but not auto play and set to not auto next and not loop.

Anyone encountering this issue?

Actually whole system of pre and post videos is not stable. Continuing my post above... if I put in and intro and a main and a post video but no commercial and no pre video I get the following behavior.

Intro plays
main plays
player skips post
intro plays
main plays (this time, twice!! at the same time!! one slightly trailing the other...!!!

So there is only one player on the node so you only see one video playing but you hear two videos playing (one with a slight delay) if you stop the video one of the playbacks stops but the audio for the other video keeps playing and there is no way to stop it...

I have tried to reproduce this issue...

I made a preset for pre- and post- reel options.
I created several nodes for media with links of video from youtube.
I added a new view (using the documentation from the module) but I used the media link (youtube options).
Navigate to the new views page and the playlists does the following.

  • Pre Reel
  • Post Reel
  • Main Content (Skips 1st video but plays through playlist)
