Coming fast on the heels of RC3, RC4 includes release updates to new releases of several modules to address bugs in the RC3 release. If you're upgrading directly from RC2, be sure to read the RC3 release notes.

Important: RC3 introduces a new dependency, the Apps compatible module. Before updating, make sure you have logged in with a site administrator account (a user with the user permission administer software updates or the account you created during installation). Immediately after updating, you will need to run the update script as an admin user at http://example.org/update.php (replace example.com with your domain name). See documentation on updating from one minor version to another.

Fixes in RC4 include:

• #1730168: Tags vocabulary and roles not created on install.
• #1730700: Create administrator role at install only if not already present.
• #1730676: Add patch to fix fatal error from apps.
• #1730756: Add patch from ctools to fix css property stripping.
• Followup fix to #1677080: Open Outreach doesn't install with Drush (or Aegir).
