Any chance of integration with Feature module?
I'm using forum_access module and each container or forum has it's own permission table, if you have a lot of forums, then it's almost not possible to manage it or export it somehow.

How did you get that idea?

I agree that integration with the Features module would be desirable, but I have no idea what it takes to do that. Please post a patch and provide reviews...
