Hi,
I'd like my users to be able to see other users locations. Here's a patch that adds the permission. I just assign it to my "approved" users role.

yesct commentedCould someone re-roll this if they are still interested in it? I'll mark it as needs work for now, and since it is so old if no-one responds in 2 weeks, I'll mark it as postponed (needs more info).
CCK locations dont work perfectly with views right now, but I believe the functionality of this might be possible if using cck locations and cck field level permissions.

vegasphotog commentedI am not sure what you mean.....I am not a coder but have a working site...5.+ and when I add or edit something in my events calendar none of the address part shows up. Since I know very little about php and I am just hoping somebody updates this location module so it talks successfully with the other modules.

yesct commentedvegasphotog: I think you should start your own new issue. This issue was originally about modifying the permission system to give certain roles permission to view other's user locations. Thanks.

ankur commentedI believe this is supported in CCK locations in 6.x-3.x and probably in fields in 7.x-3.x/7.x-4.x.
