Hello. When entering recipes using the dropdown for prep time, instead of 2 1/2 hours i get the encoding...please see screenshot...Advice as to where I might look to correct this is greatly appreciated.

This should be fixed in the current version of the module. Please download the 5.x version and install that (since you're already using a 5.x version of the module this should just be a matter of replacing the recipe.module files).
