copy block placement between themes

I'm wondering if there is a way to copy block placement between themes in Home » Administer » Site building
» Blocks'? I'd like to not have to manually rebuild their placement in regions and their weight while switching to a different version of the theme (in this case spreadfirefox to the spreadfirefox_5.x-1.x-dev).

It would be nice to be able to switch themes and have some way to copy over the block placements. Alternately I suppose one could go into the database and copy over the settings.

(I may have answered my own question, but if anyone out there has an easier way, or creates a 'copy block placement' module then hats off)

Yeah, I'd like to be able to

I guess people arrive at them by search.

You know what, I did! If I

You know what, I did! If I find an issue which there isn't an answer to I always reply to that post rather than duplicate. makes me feel like I have company.

So what's the "book thread"?

So what's the "book thread"? Could you give me a link?
