Could someone post a screenshot of what this option should look like where. I have it installed, enabled (along with BEF); but, I see no option to select dependency.

Now that you posted a "Read documentation" link, yes. Always nice to read that before installing a module. (But, in fairness, I should have re-read the readme.txt file. My bad.)

I'll post a screenshot(s) of it in use, for others benefit.

DEPENDENT filters will only appear AFTER your resort, meaning putting the field above the dependent field!

IMPORTANT: the order of the fields is important. see also the readme of the module.

ok, i was then removing a field and resaved some settings. now its not working anymore. well strange

If you change your filters, you probably need to revisit the settings for the dependency filter and make sure they're ok.

well, i did that.
i tried something. kind of a research project views (BEF, views_hacks + this module etc) vs. search_api+facets. in case of exposesed filters, dependent filters and so on.

I have yet to see the dependent filters. Sounds good on paper, but sure would like to get it working.

Have you tried scaling it back and making a very very basic view, to try to figure out where the problem lies?
