Which PHP version are you using? We cannot reproduce this.

FYI,
I just installed alpha6 in the Acquia Dev environment (7.16.16-5895.47282 Windows version) today. The default PHP 5.3.18 is selected. Apache/2.2.22.

The error I received during installation is
Fatal error: Call to undefined function field_attach_load() in C:\Documents and Settings\Rich\My Documents\PCC Website\Drupal\Spark\spark-7.x-1.0-alpha6\includes\entity.inc on line 320

I would like to try this distribution, any thoughts on how to work around this error?
