Basic idea is to clear the cached page where postings occur by setting nocache_anon flag in session. I'm relatively new in Drupal, so not sure this is correct in all aspects. But please review this patch for possible inclusion.

ksoonson commentedthis patch is very useful for cache-enabled sites that allow anonymous posting. you can see it in action / test it at http://kldp.org/node/86229
(you can login using your drupal.org userid too)
without this patch, the anonymous user did not know their comment was actually added. so they usually post same comments several times. very useful patch.

dpearcefl commentedConsidering that no new features will be added to D5 and that no one has shown any interest in this issue for a long time, I am closing this issue ticket. If you think we still need this feature request, please reopen it and move it to the D8 issue queue.
