Will not redirect

I cannot seem to get front_page to redirect after login. The anonymous user is able to redirect to the correct node (using path module), however authenticated users (and all other roles) redirect to the anonymous role page. Im using OG and path. There is no front_page alias setup outside of the front module. Not sure how to proceed.
