comment + cck field

I want to add a cck node reference to a comment

I've created a CCK Contenttyp called "character", this is for a roleplay. every user has 1 to 5 different characters.

now I want that the user is able to select the character he is using for a forum topic.

so I added a CCK Nodereference for the forum topic. This works perfect.

The problem is, if another user answers to this forum topic he is'nt able to chose a character becaus the answer is a comment and not a forum topic.

I've no idea how to get a cck field for the comment.

I tried the node comment modul but if I enable this no longer the forum or comment modul will work.

Is there any solution for my problem?
