I have my mysql drupal tables using mysqli type this is why I never got installed signit by default I had to do it manually till I put my eyes on the .install part of the code and added some modifications so also accepts mysqli type tables....
who do I sent the patch?

I accepted some parts of the patch and applied to the DRUPAL-5 branch. Thanks for the patch!
