Hello,

Why don't you check the Hellenic Drupal group?

Done.

I truly believe that Drupal deserves to win all 3 categories.

Please vote if you haven't already done so. It's not about the money, which granted will come in handy for whatever purposes the Drupal Association determines; it's about the fact that Drupal does so much for its users - both web site maintainers such as you and me as well as the end users that surf our web sites.

2007 Award Rules

(...)
4. A CMS cannot win more than one category. For example the Overall and Most Promising categories must be won by different CMS’s. This is to ensure that more than one open source CMS benefits from the Award.

6. During the final voting stage, only one vote per person will be counted

So, may we vote in three categories?

webchick’s picture

I'll go and confirm this with the Packt folks and report back.

webchick’s picture

Okay, to clarify, one person can vote once in each category. Therefore, with Drupal in the final of three categories, Drupal fans can vote three times, once in each category that Drupal is featured in.

(emphasis mine :))

If Drupal does win in all three categories, it will only get one prize (presumably the top one). If, however, it doesn't win in the first category and everyone only voted for the first category, it couldn't win the second or third categories. You need to vote in all three categories.

It says "Your email is only for verification purposes" but I haven't received any email to verify. I wonder if my votes were counted. Maybe the email will be sent later.

Best of luck to Drupal!

I'm pretty sure the email is an attempt to limit people to 1 vote each. Also, if some suspicious activity is noticed (like thousands of votes coming from 1 IP address) then they can send an automated email to each voter to confirm their vote (overloading the spam voter).
