Redirect error

I'm using Localizer 5.x-1.9 for a bilingual site (romanian & english). The main language is is romanian. I'm using URL language prefix for language switch.

I have noticed that Google refuse to index pages in English (pattern: http://www.ascentgroup.ro/en/*) and say that these URL's are "URLs not followed" by the reason "Redirect error". I have used http://www.seoconsultants.com/ to check server headers and I found that an English page will make a lot of redirects until is displayed and do not return the 200 code. Here are the server headers returned by the page: http://www.ascentgroup.ro/en/about-us/consultants/adela-cristea

Note the big timeout that possible is causing the redirect error.

The romanian translations simply return 200 HTTP code without making any loop.

might this be related to the issue at http://drupal.org/node/275214 ? A patch is available there
