What is the best way to make the aloha tool bar available by default in node/add/article and advanced edit? otherwise you are giving the user an inconsistent experience

wim leersThat *will* be implemented. We simply haven't gotten to that yet.
jghyde commentedShould it be implemented independently of the WYSIWYG module, or incorporate the WYSIWYG module as a dependency?
artatac commentedThanks - I will stop looking for it! Excellent work btw
Comment #4
obrienmd commentedWim, is the plan for this to be a widget type for text fields?
wim leers#4: do you mean plain text or rich text? It will be available for any text field that uses Drupal's text formats.
obrienmd commented#5: Just that it would be available as a widget type for text areas. Is that not the case? Will it just show up automagically based on choosing formatted text rather than plain text in the field config?
wim leersIt will. But right now, it will only show up if you have a single text format and that text format only contains filters that are compatible with WYSIWYG editing.
obrienmd commentedRight. Cheers! Looking forward to further developments :) Thanks for all the hard work thus far!

webchickHey there! Good news, we just slotted this into the current sprint. :) However, I'm now going to close this in favour of #1761550: [META] As a content editor, I want to use the WYSIWYG editor on my back-end node forms as well which is the central tracking issue for this feature. Please feel free to follow over there!
