Creative Commons

kreynen - February 18, 2005 - 04:28

The Creative Commons module allows users to select and assign a Creative Commons license to a node and any attached content. Additionally, the site admin can select a license to assign to the entire site.

It uses the Creative Commons API to get up-to-date license information. Administrators can control which roles have permission to license content, restrict which license types are available, require specific metadata be included, and set site-wide defaults. Licensing is enabled per content type.

This module was updated for Drupal 6 as part of the Google Summer of Code 2009 by balleyne.
