I am a very dedicated Drupalier and was trying to integrate authorize.net with
the ecommerce module in Drupal. Has anyone succeeded in setting up
ecommerce integrated with authorize.net in Drupal 5.x ?
My specs for my site are as follows..
Drupal 5.2
E-commerce 5.x-4.0-alpha1
Authorize.net module , I built from cvs. it was around 5x.1.4 http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/modules/ecommerce/c...
I have tried the E-commerce 5.x-4.x-dev module and it keeps requiring the ‘payment’ module which is
Deprecated. Maybe this is how its supposed to work?
I get several poorly formed function errors from using the E-commerce 5.x-4.0-alpha1 with the authorize.net module I built from CVS.
Any Help would be appreciated,
Robert D. Smith

gordon commentedeC 4 has a completely new method of implementing Payment gateways, which is more flexible and easy to develop.
Authorize.net has not been redeveloped to work with ec 4 yet which is why it was not included in the alpha 1, and once I or someone else has time I will include make it work. but it will be redeveloped from scratch to take advantage of the new features such as payment entry on the checkout review page.
ATM PayPal is the only payment gateway available.

dougpetch commentedWill you include a notice in the release notes when authorize.net (or any other gateway, for that matter) has been redeveloped? I want to upgrade, but I use authorize.net exclusively so I can't until its functional in the new release.
Thanks!

gordon commentedAuthorize.net and others will be updated before the final release, but just because there is only paypal, there is no reason why you can't start testing the alpha and seeing how they work.

daniel sanchez commentedIs COD or CCard supposed to be working right now? Or is Paypal the only payment option?
