Upon viewing the Status Report page (/admin/reports/status), I receive this error/notice:
Notice: Undefined index: version_major in update_calculate_project_update_status() (line 595 of /home/account/public_html/drupal/modules/update/update.compare.inc).
I've had this since installing D7.13, and in D7.14, and in D7.15. My site is still in maintenance mode if that helps at all.

laoguxintan commentedThe same issue. Drupal Core 7.15.
kreatil commentedSame issue here. Drupal 7.15. The error message went away after running update script once.
What I did before the error appeared was to rename the site's directory. Initially I gave it a temporary name while developing the site. Then I switched the official URL on to Drupal, which made it necessary to rename the site's directory according to the URL.

wayne57 commentedSame problem here. It has effected how some modules are working too. My Display Suite cannot update field displays, and changing the format filters has no effect, i.e. not accepting the changes, but only indication is this notice when updating.

redrex commentedSame error message - had since 7.14. Now running 7.16 and error message is still visible.

ian-moran commentedCan I just check if anyone is using an automatically installation script provided by their hosting company? I haven't come across the problem previously until using one of these scripts.
Thanks a lot
Ian

wayne57 commentedI among using an automated script from my host. I used the Aquila dev installer, but with a core install.
wayne57 commentedSorry, predictive text!! That should read, I am not using an automated script
Comment #15
khenney commentedSame error here since 7.14. Now on 7.16 and error remains. Not installed via automated script.
David_Rothstein commentedSee #1343768: make update_calculate_project_update_status() work nicely with HEAD releases
Comment #17
pjbarry21 commentedMine was a clean install from a full Drupal installation downloaded from Drupal.org -- no scripts.
