Today I downloaded the current dev snapshot, re-enabled module_filter -- its 7.x-1.7 version had been disabled -- and ran drush updb.

Please see the two attached screen captures: one of the module's configuration page; the other of the admin/modules page. As you can see, Module Filter for this dev release simply does not deliver, except to use slightly different themeing with the shown settings.

I tried a few different admin themes, just to rule out themes being part of the problem. There were no differences. None of the themes were guilty -- Responsive Bartik, Seven, Garland, Zen, AT Admin. The theme you're seeing in the screen captures is AT Admin.

Module Filter's UI for admin/modules just doesn't look right, eh? And the promised functionality is not there.

Please note that the site in question is using the latest Panopoly profile (beta5). Perhaps Panopoly is the culprit?

Works as designed. The problem is with Panopoly.

The issue discussed in #1 is the inclusion of jQuery Update.module in Panopoly which seems to break parts of Module Filter.
