There's an useful "Verification link" field for Google Sitemaps, but not for the (similar) Yahoo Site Explorer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/). It should be implemented.

I created this patch file that should allow you to specify a yahoo.html file with the keyword they need to see in for Verification.

Testing seems to work for me.

testing the patch but modified all references of gsitemap to xmlsitemaps (using 5.x-2.x-dev)...

patch working okay (with all references of gsitemap turned into xmlsitemaps) for me...

PS: the comment must be changed from Google to Yahoo!.. :D The updated patch is attached...
