Description

When the picture is initially uploaded, and ready to be resized, Drupal displays a standard confirmation informing the user 'Your changes have been saved'. This should be suppressed, as at this point there aren't actually any changes saved.

Is this coming from the main user form, and can it be removed somehow in hook_form_alter?

I concur, this message is misleading.
