I propose that this module be integrated into D7. The bigger picture would be to have dynamically updating forms that update status messages and content on the fly. D6 already has jQuery 1.2 and by the time D7 hits, jQuery UI will be available.

D7 was already released, and I think its outside the scope of this module to have AJAX/AHAH forms.
