Need help submitting a form programmatically

I'm using nf_registration_mod and need to have a form submitted programmatically. Instead of user going to a page and selecting from a drop down list (form) which membership they want, I want them to simply click on a link/button that would be on the page explaining each membership that would select the membership they chose and skip the page with the form.

I'm also looking for looking for some help with the user_relationships module. It doesn't quite work as it should and I don't know if the developer will fix it fast enough for my needs (I asked him if a bounty would help, waiting for a response - so it's really whoever can do it first). I also need forms submitted programmatically here also.

I have lots of Drupal projects (currently 5 - and I expect more) and often need help when it comes to editing modules or custom code -I'm great at working with already built, functioning modules (have a lot of ingenuity!) but when it comes to custom code or editing a module - I'm not very good at it, so it sometimes takes me forever to accomplish little tasks. So ideally, I'd like to have someone I can contact whenever I run into something above my head.
