Adding search to aggregator.module

Having the capability to search thru aggreagor posts is an important and crucial feature for aggregator driven community sites.

What differentiates this capability from that of, say Technorati, is that it is limited to only feeds that have been added to the site, which increase the quality and relevancy to the community of the results.

I have developed code that works with 4.5.2 but have been told that it no longer will work with the version in CVS.

I would like to help implement this feature if I can, but would need assistence to get up to speed on developing off the Drupal CVS code base.
