Enabled services vs Toolbox services
You are browsing documentation for an older version of Drupal, which is not supported any longer, and the information may not be correct. See current documentation for Contributed modules
On a regular basis people make a misconception of the use of services inside the AddThis module. Its the distinction between Enabled services and Toolbox services. They are two different thing and this page explains the difference.
Enabled services
On the configuration page admin/config/user-interface/addthis you find the fieldset with enabled services. These services are used in the AddThis compact menu. This is the menu that is used in the single button or the plus sign that pops up a menu with a list of services.
Toolbox services
The enabled services do not influence what is shown in a toolbox use on Content Types or in a Block. The Content Types have their own list of services they should show.
