The [video:file=xxxx] tag doesn't appear to work on a promoted page.
Blog entry is promoted to front page.
Check out www.drkyte.com At the bottom of the page the
[video] tag can be seen. However clicking on the title of that blog
entry clearly sees the tag working :-(

travist commentedTry going to the FlashVideo Settings... In your node type, click on Performance, then enable the checkbox that says "Search for [video] tags in the teaser"... This should solve your problem.
Please let me know if it does.
Thanks,
Travis.

davidkyte commentedPerfect, thanks Travis
Suggestion - enable these by default so that the module basically works
then include an optimisation section in the help.
To speed up - turn off in teasers, etc ;-)
Just my 2c worth
Thanks again for a great module.
There is a website called freeiq - have you come across it?
You can submit revenue earning content.

solona commentedI am having the same issue, but cannot find "Performance" in any of the Content Types.
I am using video.module and composite.module. I've got a few panels on the front page, using the Composite two-column layout. Everything shows up except the video itself. It works on its own node page.
Is "Performance" a Drupal 5 feature? Any ideas on how to fix this in Drupal 6? Thanks.
