Hi
Not sure about the best forum for this, and ironically the web site for a powerful taxonomy platform is remarkably unorganised ;-), so thought I'd stick it here, as my requirements are on a new Drupal based web site.

(Relevant section is- Drupal: Upgrade Me!
I'd like to build quite a few web sites based on Drupal, so am looking for design and development resources, so if interested pop over and say hi.
Cheers, neil.

contact details
Hi guys
Thanks for the replies. No, no joke, I am looking for services, and I've now enabled contact on my profile so please feel free to send a message and we can chat.
thanks,
Cheers, Neil.
Sorry,
Sorry,
I don't work for those that put in fake or incorrect information in to the who-is database. It has always lead to problems. I am also officially warning any developer that works off-site to not work for someone that does not have a correct who-is. If there is a payment problem or you find out that you are working for a spammer, porn king or hate group then you have no legal recourse.
In all cases you should get a registered letter sent and a contract signed before doing anywork for a "non-person". Sending a registered letter proposal cost very little compared to the time wasted and money lost in a bad deal.
Neil, Get that info fixed and we can talk. It's nothing personal. Just business.

Oh, and Neil if this is
Oh, and Neil if this is something that the isp/registrar has done and not you then you should see about getting them to fix this before building anything. Here in Sweden there is a company that has registered hundreds of thousands of client domains in their own company name. So when the client, who thinks that they own the domain name attempts to move from their services they find themselves having a long wait and sometimes not getting their domain back at all.

Carl
Hi Carl
I'm a non-technical person, which is why I'm looking to buy services here, and so I don't know what you mean. Who is who-is? :)
It sounds like a fascinating area because yes commerce is all about Digital Identity and Trust etc. so it's very interesting to know this is a factor you would base your decision on. However as said I don't know what you are refering to and I don't know what data it says about me, so appreciate some pointers.
I'm Neil McEvoy, you can even see me here: http://www.bootstrap-network.com/about-me, and the web sites I want to convert to Drupal start here: ondemand-network.com.
Cheers, Neil.
You should check with who
You should check with who you have the domains registered to but the who-is is a database controlled by internic. It has the owner, technical and administrative information on the domain. Use a who-is look up utility or do a search at godaddy.com or register.com to see your domain information. For reasons of privacy I will not post the results here. But the owners name does not come up as Neil McEvoy or another person but a fill in text.
The only ones that can change this are the ones that registered the domain so you will have to get their cooperation.
