Hello,

Is it possible to hide the footer on specific pages or, failing that, to assign different footers to different pages? Also, is there any way to hide or remove the "home" text link which appears at the top of the page? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Here's an idea: you can put blocks in the footer. So, delete whatever html you have in the footer and create a couple of blocks with the footer contents you want, setting them to appear on whatever pages you want.

This sounds easy enough, but how exactly does one put blocks in the footer? I though you could only select blocks to appear in the right or left sidebars.

Also, do you happen to know how to hide the "home" textlink which appears at the top of pages?

Thanks for your help!

The theme should have a footer region. Drupal 5 allows you to have as many regions (placed anywhere you want) as you want.
About Home: which link are you talking about? In the breadcrumbs?
