Problem with filter and search bar

After I loaded this module, the first thing I noticed was the filter linke in the top left corner. When I clicked on it, it hid the search bar and now I can't get it back. Well, it still appears for the admin but not for users. And, even after I disabled the Java modules, it still shows me the filter link and the hide code. How do I get rid of this stuff, how do I get the search bar back for users, and what did I do wrong in the first place? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
