sambtaylor commentedYes, I had the same problem. There are no settings. I was using drupal 5.2. Does it not work with 5.2 yet?

dnewkerk commentedYes, it should work for all versions of Drupal 5 (including up to 5.3).
Try viewing the settings page with a default theme, such as Garland... I believe that until you have set up at least one role with access permissions for TinyMCE, the initial TinyMCE page only displays a "Drupal message" informing you that you need to set up the access for at least one Role. Some themes (or your custom theme) might have left out the $messages variable, which is where this info from TinyMCE gets displayed in this case - without the variable in your theme, you'll just see a blank page when you go to TinyMCE settings. Switching temporarily to Garland should ensure that the message shows up. I haven't tried, but you could also maybe just go to Administer ->User Management -> Access Control and turn on permissions for TinyMCE - the settings page for TinyMCE should then come up as expected.
Here's a pretty good guide on Drupal + TinyMCE: http://mybesinformatik.com/tinymce-and-drupal5
Hope this helps.

sambtaylor commentedKeyz, thanks for the response. I got this working a little whiles ago--I can't even remember how now. BUT, I am still really struggling to find a way to have Tiny MCE reproduce Drupal's built in structure of outputting single line breaks for single line returns. I absolutely need this function. I have read everything I can find on the subject and all I can manage to get is either paragraph returns or none at all with any of the proposed solutions. Do you know anything about this? I'll open another thread about it too.
