Could someone please describe with a few words what need to be done if I need to migrate from Workbench Files to Workbench Media module? I do not like to loose data and I'm not sure if there is an upgrade path implemented or not.

Maybe I need to uninstall Files first or I should better not... ? Please shed some light to the dark. Good idea may be one the Files project homepage.

No actual data is stored, so just disable and uninstall Workbench Files and install/enable Workbench Media.

Workbench Files has not required Media module. I'm not using unready Media module myself. I had too many troubles. Are we able to remove the limiting dependency, please?
