Hi!

Just discovered the Workbench modules today. I think that they add a lot of great functionality to the UX. My big disappointing was that there is not a Drupal 6 version.

Is it possible to make a Drupal 6 backport of workbench? I ask this first from a technical standpoint. Has core or modules that Workbench depends on changed so much from 6 to 7 that it is not possible?

I think that a Drupal 6 version would speak volumes to the people currently using D6 sites that need a UX upgrade about where Drupal is headed in the future.

There are no plans to backport. This project aims to fix common issues in D6 so we never have to solve them again in D7.
