Typically, links to translated versions of a node are automatically displayed below the node display. When the node is displayed as a block, they are probably not required and would be best hidden. As far as I can see this is not currently possible. I know that it can be done if you use i18n and select Hide content translation links at admin/config/regional/i18n/node but without i18n installed it seems that links to translations of the current node are always included in the block display, which can be messy (especially if many translations are available.)

I was hoping that setting Node Link Display to hide would prevent translation links from being displayed, but that seems not to be the case.

I know there are other solutions, but I think it would make sense to have a setting somewhere to control this.
