Hi there

My host upgraded to PHP5.4 over the weekend and now I have all these strict warning messages on my site they are typically

* strict warning: Only variables should be passed by reference in ../sites/all/modules/shoutbox/shoutbox.module on line 420.
* strict warning: Only variables should be passed by reference in ../sites/all/modules/shoutbox/shoutbox.module on line 194.

Anything can be done to mute these messages in the mean time?
