Drupal 5.1 is not properly indexing our site. Its not a simple configuration issue so please read http://drupal.org/node/136888 before you assume you can fix this. I believe the problem to be a bug in Drupal that is somehow not affecting many users. My latest problem is that the site still says 100% indexed but there are entries missing from the index.

I need someone with serious Drupal search knowledge to help with this. Willing to pay good $ if you can help us fix the issue. Please sent an email to gigs schoftech {{{d.o.t}}} net if you're interested.

Can you give a link to problem seach results page?
It seems to me, I've been face the challenge.

I'm running into a similar problem, so any insight you could give me on your issue would be very much appreciated. I'm trying to upgrade from D4 to D5 right now, and in the upgraded version of our site the search seems to not index certain portions of the site (in particular the forums). Forum results showed up in searches just fine in the D4 verison, but in our upgraded D5 version forum entries are missing from search results. We have reindexed the site a couple times, and this did not help. Site shows as being 100% indexed.

Would you mind sharing anything you learned in dealing with your problem that might help me with mine?

Have you tried updating your site to latest version (5.18) to see if that will resolve your issue first?
