It would be useful for a user to be able to select something like, "Show available dates for xxx each side."

Where they can select, for example, 3 weeks either side of their preferred time period.

I can see what you are looking for. And I hate all those non-fuzzy search sites as well, where you can only search on or "apartment" or "chambre d'hôte" or "hotel room", but not on "apartment or chambre d'hôte" and where you cannot search on dogs not allowed (e.g. because of an allergy) but only on "dogs allowed".

But implementing this (probably) won't be that easy. Probably, because I did not yet have a good look at it. If you can come up with the queries that give the correct answer, and what parameters are passed on (and thus probably need to be beaked into the UI), I will give it a try.

I am currently going through the issue queue and am closing old issues that have not had any response since long. Please feel free to reopen if you still want this feature, providing as much of the requested details as possible and how this issue can be forwarded (developing it yourself, funded development, ...).
